NO HEAT FOR 3 DAYS (and counting)!!!!!! I am appaleed at the 5 stars for this scamming company. Do not book with them. Their workers are extremely rude and have attitudes when you ask them to do the work correctly. They will put your home in danger of fires or being without heat due to their purposeful negligence. They are not honest and do not care about their customers. We purchased a new AC system costing thousands of dollars they installed it incorrectly and keep charging us to fix it. We have been without heat now for 3 days! They could care less and they want to charge us anougher 3,000 to fix the boiler. Shameful company. Thank you for causing my family to be without heat in the dead of winter and not caring at all to fix it. We will never book with this sorry scamming company again!

We had an awful experience with another plumbing company and was without HOT water for 15days. Eric came and assessed us on a Monday and our new water heater was installed on a Wednesday right before Thanksgiving!He was Friendly knowledgeable and provided us great service.
Had to replace a toilet and Henry and Travis were sent out within three hours of my request for service. Henry and Travis did an excellent job of removing the old toilet and installing the new one. They cleaned up nicely and were friendly. The lady who took my call also was friendly. This is an excellent company I use for plumbing, electrical, gas, heating and air conditioning. UPDATE: I noted a small leak from the tank of the new toilet and emailed Norfolk Air. Henry and Travis responded in less than two hours (on a Saturday!) and tightened the fittings. Can't ask for better service. CONTINUED: I had a leak for a different toilet. At my request on a weekend, Travis called within two hours and came by the same day to repair the leak. Again- excellent service! Added 10/14/19: A new technician performed our regular, twice-a-year service. Emanuel was a pleasant, knowledgeable young man. Besides checking the heating system for the winter, Emanuel cleaned our humidifier, Great job, as usual! Update on 11/11/19: Doing some renovation and had to redirect a gas valve. Henry came out as scheduled and did the job. Very pleasant and professional experience as usual. THIS IS ONE WELL-RUN COMPANY! Update: 9/18/20- Had biannual inspection by Cassidy. Fine young man. Everything is working well- both heating and cooling. This is good insurance to have these inspections. Update August 27th 2022. Jake came out to repair our air conditioner that stopped working. One of the drains had locked up. Very happy with his coming out within an hour and his friendliness and good advice. New service Nov.2022 with clogged sink. John replaced sagging pipes under the house and cleared a mass of built up grease with Marvin's help. Difficult job completed to my satisfaction. New post November 2004. At a plumbing problem and called Norfolk Air, in Jerome came out in 1 hour. Jerome was a fine, pleasant, informative young man and took care of the problem. We had the most amazing service with Norfolk Air, Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical! Jesse was our technician along with another gentleman whose name I can’t remember. We had no working toilets or plumbing and a bad clog in our pipes that they spent hours clearing on a Sunday evening! They worked late into the night in our crawl space to ensure we had working plumbing that night! This was so important to us as I am currently 27 weeks pregnant and we have a potty training toddler. They worked so efficiently and really cared about making sure the job was done right. They were incredibly respectful of our home and were so polite and professional. I honestly could go on for so long about how amazing they were and how appreciative we are of them! We are so thankful they are the crew that showed up to help us this past weekend!

I've had a recurring issue with my almost 3 year old hvac, so I decided to call Norfolk Air to verify if faulty electrical in my home was the root of the problem. I also had a surge protector installed. Mr. Barry Haley was very polite, professional, and informative. He answered all of my questions without hesitation. I liked that he explained price options and did not just hand me the most expensive quote. He cleaned up when the work was done. He even gave my needy dog some attention. I have to add that the ladies that I spoke with for appointment scheduling were also very polite and informative. I feel that these employees went above and beyond. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
Called in for a new HVAC system that was installed in July. First time we turned on the heat, it did not work. Called on Sunday morning at 0800 and a technician was there in less than 2 hours. The thermostat had failed. Although frustrated that our new system did not work- the service for recovery was excellent.
They quoted $330 and $770 on top of their $89 service fee to replace a simple thermostat with warn out buttons. They have EXTREMELY inflated prices. AVOID this company!!

As always great company, great people and great service. Wes was here when we pulled in from Maryland this morning we had a faulty outside gfi which he replaced in no time and gave me some good electrical tips also. Thanks Wes and company 😎😎Also Damien serviced our gas fireplace, did a full safety check and cleaned the entire unit. His knowledge and professionalism were top notch and really enjoyed talking to him while he was making sure everything was working properly with the fireplace, he also gave me a few good tips about certain things to look for and do. ..we had a ("freak") short in one of iur outlets which impacted wiring of other outlets, overhead lights, ceiling fan,.. Barry/Norfolk Air showed up as scheduled (called in advance to advise on his way),.. walked through service issues,.. Barry reviewed all, determined problem, provided estimate,.. agreed on work needed, he got right to work replacing needed outlet, checked fuse box/confirmed all good, tested the replaced outlet, and all related outlets, overhead lights, fan, etc, -- all good!!,.. cleaned up service area,.. reviewd/ signed work order, all correct!.. all done in approx 45minutes!!,...very happy with Barry (very knowledgeable, explained work needed/work done,.. etc,.. nice guy!!),.. very satisfied with Barry and Norfolk Air quick response,..

We’ve used numerous other companies since we moved here and finally feel like we’ve found a reliable reasonably priced company. Eric Richardson came to my apartment to do an estimate for a water purification system in my kitchen sink, the bathroom sink and shower. He said that since my apt is one of twelve units, he would need to get an apartment capablesystem. He is very knowledgeable, professional and courteous.
I had a plumber named Jerome. Very professional, gave his recommendation as well as other options to choose from in regards to my toilet issues. After I decided, he got the job done in a timely manner and answered my questions throughout the process. I recommend him.

I previously had a plumber come out and tell me there was a flow restriction in my pipes and would require ripping out walls to find the problem. Jesse came in looked at my water heater and had the issue fixed in less than 5 minutes. Their experience alone makes it worth the investment.

The crew arrived on time as scheduled, quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem and arranged for repairs. Repairs were done efficiently and effectively and with in the cost quoted. As both my wife and I work, timeliness and accuracy of estimates are both very important to us. Norfolk Air consistently comes through for us! Keep up the great work!

After two failed appointments, I cancelled the service and called Norfolk Air Heating and Plumbing. Tony called and said he would arrive early. He quickly installed the device and helped me program it. He was a pleasure to work with.

Against my own better judgment- I did the membership with them. I had a bad experience when they serviced my HVAC but out of convenience, kept them.My breaking point was when my water heater broke.They claim to be available 24/7- which is what my membership pays for. But when I called several different phone numbers, their phone system automatically hung up on me.The technician charged me almost double what a normal plumber charges to swap out the thermostats and the heating elements - I was charged $1000.That didn’t fix it.They brought out an electrician who did next to nothing - he also tried to charge me $140 for resetting a circuit breaker. I refused to pay that.After $1000 - now the whole thing needs to be replaced.I talked to a different plumber who’s replacing the entire thing for $1400.Norfolk Heating and Air took advantage of me financially as much as they possibly could. They consistently came outside of their scheduled window and charge significantly more than competitors. Their incompetence was clear when - after installation - the on/off switch was literally off and both the plumber and electrician missed it.I truly cannot believe how much I paid for such a terrible experience.Save your money - find a small business that specializes in one thing rather than a big company that appears to be mediocre in a variety of things.
Justin and his assistant are terrific, I have full confidence in their assessment and getting my HVAC unit on the right track. Justin is extremely knowledgeable and explains what is going on with my units and what in fact needs to be done.

I recently requested an estimate from this company to fix a simple faucet, and I was quoted $600 for just an hour and a half of labor. That’s an outrageous rate of around $400 per hour. When I spoke with the plumbing manager, he told me that he believed this was a fair price, which made it clear to me that they’re inflating their estimates. They use a software to calculate their prices, but it’s clear to me that this is just a tactic to overcharge customers. I don’t recommend this company if you’re looking for reasonable pricing—there are plenty of other plumbers who will do the same work for a fraction of the cost. Save your money and avoid this place!
I had an excellent experience with this company from the very start! When I first called, I spoke with Jaiden, who was incredibly helpful and kind. She was so patient, even with the limited information I had, and managed to get me scheduled without any issues. I needed to provide one more piece of information but didn’t have it at the time, so I asked to call back.When I did, I spoke with Kyra, who was just as kind and professional. I had actually called in a second time before reaching her, and while I was on hold, the call got disconnected. I completely understand how busy they must be, especially with the changing seasons! Despite the hiccup, Kyra apologized sincerely and reassured me that it wasn’t intentional.The customer service here truly stands out. Both Jaiden and Kyra spoke clearly, professionally, and were exceptionally polite. I haven't had the chance to use their technicians yet, as my service call is scheduled for tomorrow, but the front office has set the bar high! Given the number of other 5-star reviews, I have no doubt that the technicians will be just as fantastic. Great company all around! Highly recommend!
